The Power Ministry has formed a committee to investigate the cause of the accident at the NTPC-Unchahar thermal power plant.
An official statement said that the committee will also fix responsibility for lapses and suggest measures to avoid an occurrence of such incidents in the future.
The four-member committee is headed by PD Siwal, Member (Thermal), Central Electricity Authority.
