President Pranab Mukherjee will arrive in the city on Thursday afternoon on a two-day visit to West Bengal.
During the course of his visit, the President will attend functions and programmes organised by three educational institutions.
The President will inaugurate an International Conference on Accountancy Profession organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) towards late afternoon.
In the evening, he is expected to attend a function at Raj Bhavan.
Following an overnight stay at the Raj Bhavan, he will leave for Durgapur to attend the 9th Convocation of the National Institute of Technology on Friday.
He will also attend the annual convocation of the Burdwan University and lay the foundation stone of the Golden Jubilee Building there.
He will leave for New Delhi from Burdwan.
