Preeti Sudan, IAS (Andhra Pradesh: 1983) on Monday assumed charge as Secretary, Department of Food and Public Distribution in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution. She takes over following the superannuation of Vrinda Sarup.
In a career spanning more than 33 years, Sudan has served in various departments in Andhra Pradesh, including the Revenue Department, the Disaster Management Department, Health and Family Welfare, Finance and Seeds/ Agriculture Corporation, an official release said.
