Rana Daggubati, Anthill Ventures launch accelerator programme

Rana Daggubati and Prasad Vanga, founder of Anthill Ventures, will work closely with the start-ups.

Baahubali fame Rana Daggubati, who is also an entrepreneur and investor in tech start-ups, will be working with start-ups. Suresh Productions, one of the oldest film production companies in the country, has tied up with Anthill Ventures, an investment and scaling platform for early growth stage start-ups, to launch Anthill Studio.

The three-month accelerator programme will bring experts from the industry and technology experts to mentor the start-ups. “Media and entertainment is a key focus area for Anthill Ventures’ upcoming $100-million fund,” Prasad Vanga, the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Anthill Ventures, said.

Located at Antihill’s T-Hub facility here, Anthill Studio is a business accelerator programme for technology start-ups that are developing for the media and entertainment sector.

Rana Daggubati and Prasad Vanga, founder of Anthill Ventures, will work closely with the start-ups at the studio which would focus more on Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Visual Effects (VFX), Real-time Cloud Rendering and Big Data.

“Film studios all over the world have embraced VFX, gaming, internet-based media, AR/VR, streaming and cloud tech to enhance audience experience. This studio will help develop technological solutions required by the film and entertainment industry,” Rana Daggubati said.
