Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone to hold road show in Kozhikode

Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone (RAK FTZ) will hold a road show in Kozhikode from October 16 to 18.

Senior officials from RAK FTZ will participate in the sessions to be held in association with the Kerala Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Kozhikode Chapter.

RAK FTZ is one of the fastest-growing and most cost-effective free trade zones promoted by the Government of Ras Ak Khaimah in the UAE.

Bissoon Surnam, Head, India Liaison Office of RAK FTZ, said that this is a first of its kind joint initiative, which will have presentations followed by B2B interactive meetings with the entrepreneurs and businessmen interested in setting up a business operation in the UAE.

With an initial investment of Rs 2.5 lakh, businessmen from Kerala have the opportunity to set up an office in the UAE and enjoy tax incentives and 100 per cent capital and profit repatriation. They are eligible to apply for one UAE residence visa (family status)) valid for three years and a bank account in UAE plus other advantages.

The three-day interactive meet will be a unique opportunity for businessmen and industrialists to discuss overseas expansion of their businesses.

Maryam Al Murshedi, Deputy Director General, said that RAK FTZ has emerged as the preferred business hub in the region in the past decade and is now home to more than 6,000 active companies from 106 countries.

It employs more than 350 full-time staff, operates business and promotion centres in four locations in the UAE and has an expanding international presence, with liaison offices in Germany, Turkey, India and the US.
