CREDAI holds games for construction workers

The Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (CREDAI) celebrated Labour Day by holding athletic games for labourers.

The event organised by CREDAI Bangalore saw over 680 labourers taking part in the games.

Suresh Hari, Secretary, CREDAI Bangalore said, “We are doing this for the fourth year with deep satisfaction and gratitude for our workers, who toil round the year to produce best for us. This day is to express our sincere thanks to the workers and their families.”

Anil Nayak, CEO, CREDAI, Karnataka “Every year around 700 labourers participate in this event. Sports activities conducted are 100, 200 and 400 meters running, shot put and long jump activities for men and women.”

This initiative is part of the CREDAI’s CSR activity. Sunil Joshi, former Indian cricketer who was the chief quest said, “May Day is where everyone one of us would like to show our respect to those who work hard and to labourers as well. I felt happy to honor these people. It was great day for me.”

Labourers from various projects of the Brigade Group, Mantri Developers, Vaishnavi Group, Sattva Group, Puravankara, Total Environment, Sobha Group, Bearys Group, Value Design Build, Souparnika, Adarsh Developers, Olety Constructions, Shriram Group, Soul Space projects, JMC projects, Gray stone group and Pashmina developers participated in the activities organized for this event.
