Realestate and apartment management portal CommonFloor.com has launched its Android Application for its apartment management offering, CommonFloor Groups.

CommonFloor Groups is India’s largest apartment management tool with over one lakh gated communities and ten lakh residents using it across the country. The ERP level tool offered by CommonFloor is a free of cost solution.

Vikas Malpani, Co-founder CommonFloor.com said, “As a tool, the app aims at connecting neighbours and mobile helps us unlock its true potential in terms of new usage scenarios and 24X7 connectivity. Residents can now be informed of issues, send and receive reminders for pending dues in a very effective and easy manner. We are confident that being present on mobile will make the app more engaging and meaningful for all our users. We expect a multifold increase in number of app users in the next 6 months.”

The app helps share messages within the groups and sub groups along with one on one messaging between residents / owners. These features give the app a flavour of a private social network that connects neighbours with each other.

Such networking is particularly useful in addressing several day to day requirements that revolve around one’s place of stay like finding a maid, finding good vendors, reviews on nearby services etc. Suggestions from neighbours can save a lot of time and effort. Other important facilities that the app offers include complaint management, ability to view personal dues, track payments, seek recommendations, view notifications and put up notices.

The company is also exploring opportunities to make relevant information ‘Google Now’ friendly, going ahead. It also plans to add a host of new features in upcoming versions that will make the app more social.
