REC commits $1 m to solar alliance

REC Ltd has contributed $1 million to the International Solar Alliance (ISA) and become a corpus contributor. A company statement said that the contribution was on account of the World Environment Day 2018. REC currently finances projects throughout the power sector value chain and has been focusing on increasing its renewable energy portfolio as well as venturing into the e-vehicle and storage infrastructure.
