Sandra Venkata Veeriah, a Telangana TDP MLA, has turned up for questioning by the Anti-Corruption Bureau in the cash-for-vote scam.
He had earlier sought time to be present for questioning by the sleuths of the ACB citing ill-health. The ACB had served a second notice after the time sought had lapsed.
Meanwhile, Jimmy Babu, a coordinator of the Hyderabad Cricket Association and close to the TDP MLA Revanth Reddy, has also been asked to report for questioning in the scam.
The scam broke when Revanth Reddy was arrested while allegedly seeking to bribe Elvis Stephenson, nominated MLA, to garner his support for a TDP candidate during polls to the Legislative Council.
