At least 1,500 students of standards 8 and 9 will be selected for BASF-Kids Lab, a six-day science programme from Wednesday. It is designed to nurture scientific interest and creativity in youngsters through a series of engaging and fun activities.
The Department of Science and Technology and the Kerala State Council for Science Technology and Environment are the organisers. Batches of 50 students will be allotted two-and-a-half hours each.
Certificates of participation will be awarded at the end of the programme. Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation and Kerala State Science and Technology Museum and BASF India are sponsors.
