One of the young faces in the Cabinet, the newly designated Minister for Power, Jyotiraditya Scindia, today said that he was aware of the issues concerning the Ministry and will try to resolve them.
After taking charge as Minister of State (Independent Charge) here, Scindia said that he was aware of the fuel shortage and would try and sort out the issues between Coal and Power Ministries amicably.
When asked about the power condition in Madhya Pradesh, he replied that Madhya Pradesh was his home state and therefore important, but he would give equal attention to the entire country in his capacity as Union Minister for Power.
On the issue of priorities, he said that he would give an informed opinion only after he made a personal assessment of the Ministry and the entire gamut of work ahead of him.
