Sportswear brand Adidas today said it has roped in Mahela Jayawardene as brand ambassador for ’ClimaCool+’, a technology featuring in the new team jersey of the Delhi Daredevils.
The company has signed a one year deal with the cricketer to promote the ClimaCool+ team jersey which is priced at Rs 3,299 and will be available at select Adidas outlets in the country, Adidas said in a statement.
“...We are excited to support him with our incredible sportswear innovations and believe this partnership will empower him further to deliver match winning performances,” Adidas India Brand Director Tushar Goculdas said.
Commenting on the association, Jayawardene said he is raring to step on the field in the three stripes.
“Adidas supports some of the greatest athletes in the world today and have continued to develop revolutionary products to help cricketers like me outperform,” Jayawardene said.
