Australia defeated India by 146 runs in the second Test to level the four-match series 1-1 here on Tuesday.
Batting first, Australia scored 326 and then bowled out India for 283 for a 43-run first-innings lead.
In the second essay, Australia were all out for 243 to set the visitors a target of 287. However, the Indian innings folded for 140 in 56 overs at the Optus Stadium.
