The BCCI today cancelled the third ODI between India and the West Indies in Visakhapatnam after cyclone ‘Hudhud’ left the ACA-VDCA cricket stadium there in unplayable condition.
“The third game of the Micromax Cup India vs West Indies ODI series 2014, which was to be played at Visakhapatnam on 14 October, has been cancelled as a result of the natural calamity that has impacted the city,” BCCI Secretary Sanjay Patel said in a statement.
The last two matches of the ongoing series will be played as planned at Dharamshala and Kolkata on October 17 and 20 respectively.
The teams are currently tied 1-1 in the series after India beat the visitors in the second ODI here.
