With two losses and a single win, Croatia were sent packing from Brazil after the opening stage of the World Cup.
But the players and staff are set to pick up a bonus for getting to the tournament in the first place, under an agreement reached before it began.
The Croatian football organisation HNS was awarded €8 million ($10.9 million) for qualifying for the World Cup.
The HNS and players agreed in early June to split the money halfway, after expenses — the new arrangement was more favourable to the players, as their cut in earlier tournaments was 40 per cent.
Players and staff will split their €4 million 80:20 per cent, which means that each player is set to scoop €140,000 for the three matches in 11 days, the daily 24Sata said on Wednesday.
The 13-strong non-playing personnel led by coach Niko Kovac will divide €800,000 — about $60,000 each.
Croatia lost 3-1 to Brazil and Mexico, and won 4-0 against Cameroon.
