Hyderabad Football Academy and Kerala Blasters have come together with a mission to groom football talent from the grassroots level.
Founded in 2014 by M. Atif Hyder, Tejo Ananth Dasari and Pavan Kumar Duvva, Hyderabad Football Academy offers professional training to aspiring footballers on four astro–turfs in the city and an international school.
Kerala Blasters is an Indian professional football team based in Kochi that competes in the Indian Super League.
The collaboraion was announced in the presence of Nimmagadda Prasad, co-owner Kerala Blasters, Varun Tripuraneni CEO, Kerala Blasters, and Thangaboi Singto, Assistant Coach and Technical Director of Youth Development.
HFA aims to enrol 1,000 students and provide the best football training facilities in the city.
Nimmagadda Prasad and Varun Tripuraneni in their address said: “We have focused a lot on grassroots development, establishing over 20 football schools in Kerala with over 1,500 kids participating.”
The Hyderabad Football Academy now plans to introduce a school league in the city. They plan to set up 10 professional football academies in the city.
