Jaypee Sports International has announced the commencement of sale of tickets for the third edition of Formula 1 Airtel Indian Grand Prix, to be held at the Buddh International Circuit between October 25-27, this year.
The organiser and promoter of Formula 1 in India has decided to launch the Sunday tickets simultaneously with the season tickets. Sameer Gaur, CEO, Jaypee Sports said the idea is to draw more spectators for the race day.
The Sunday ticket price for 'natural and picnic stand' starts from Rs 1,500, while a three-day Indian Grand Prix ticket for the same stand has been priced at Rs 2,000. While a main grand stand lower-tier ticket for Sunday is priced at Rs 12,000, a three-day ticket for the same stand has been priced at Rs 21,000.
The tickets can be bought online at >www.bookmyshow.com and also from Mercedes-Benz dealership in Mumbai, Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Bangalore, Pune and Chandigarh. Mercedes-Benz is the official automobile partner for the Buddh International Circuit.
In a statement, Eberhard Kern, Managing Director and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India said the company looked forward to welcoming Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg during the third edition of Indian Grand Prix.
