Australian batsman Shaun Marsh today became only the 16th player in the history of Test cricket to be run out on 99.
Marsh, attempting a risky single, was run out at the non-striker’s end by Virat Kohli throw on the fifth and final day in the ongoing third Test against India here.
He became the third Australian to have this unwanted record against his name after Bill Brown (1948) and Arthur Morris (1953).
Interestingly, all the three dismissal took place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
