Telangana, carved out of the combined State of Andhra Pradesh on June 2, 2014 to become the 29th State, is celebrating its first Formation Day. The week-long festivities come to a close on Sunday.
The Capital has been decked up with colourful lights and flags all over. The main venues for the celebrations are the Tank Bund and Necklace Road abutting the Hussainsagar that separates Hyderabad and Secunderabad.
