Pakistan is likely to release Indian Air Force (IAF) pilot, Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman on March 1. The IAF pilot was captured on Wednesday after his airplane MiG 21 Bison crossed the Line Of Control (LoC) and fell into the neighbouring country's territory. Pakistan's Prime Minster Imran Khan has also offered to hold peace talks with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi.
Jet Airways pilots’ union National Aviators Guild (NAG) are likely to go on a black band strike from March 1 because of salary delays for several months. Jet Airways has around 1800 pilots of which about 1600 pilots are associated with NAG. As a part of the protest, pilots associated with NAG will not accept extra flight duties beyond their roster.
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is slated to begin a two-day official goodwill visit to Vietnam on Friday. Vietnam's foreign ministry did not release details of Kim's schedule in the Southeast Asian country but the visit could last until Saturday.
The National Stock Exchange is set to launch a futures contract on crude oil for trading from Friday. NSE will have two cash settled futures product – 100 barrel Brent Crude Oil Futures and 10 barrels Brent Crude Oil Mini Futures. The trading period for both the futures will be between Monday to Friday.
