Due to derailment of a goods train near Subramanya Road station in Mysore Division of South Western Railway, the pattern of train services has been revised.
A press statement by the Palakkad Division of Southern Railway said here on Sunday that train no.16524 Karwar-Mangalore Express will come to Mangalore Central and then proceed to Kannur, with stops at Kasaragod, Kanhangad and Payyannur.
Coaches of train no.16518 Kannur-Yeswantpur Express will be attached with train no.16524 Karwar-Mangalore Express at Kannur and the train will proceed via Palakkad, Salem and Omallur to Yeswantpur.
It said that train no.16517/16523 Yeswantpur-Kannur/Karwar Express leaving Yeswantpur on May 4 will run via Omallur, Salem and Palakkad.
Coaches of train no. 16517 Yeswantpur-Kannur express will be detached at Kannur, while the train will proceed with the remaining coaches as train no.16523 Mangalore- Karwar Express to Karwar, with stops at Payyanur, Kanhangad and Kasaragod, it said.
