Trujet, a regional airline based out of Hyderabad, on Monday announced the launch of flights in the Hyderabad-Kadapa, Hyderabad-Nanded, Nanded -Mumbai sectors.
Under the UDAN (Ude Desh ka Aam Naagrik) Regional Connectivity Scheme of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Trujet will be the only airline to operate flights on these sectors starting from April 27.
Vankayalapati Umesh, Managing Director, Turbo Megha Airways, in a statement said “Providing air connectivity on hitherto unconnected sectors is part of our strategy of connecting un-served and under-served markets.”
The airline operates a set of ATR-72 aircraft and has acquired the fourth. The latest aircraft will operate the new sectors. With a fleet of ATR-72 aircraft, Trujet connects 8 stations, including Hyderabad, Aurangabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada, Goa and Tirupati.
