A team from the School of Economics, University of Hyderabad (UoH) has cleared the regional round of RBI Policy Challenge 2018, a national level competition.
According to a release, an entry sent by a team of students comprising Atish Kumar, Madhurima Chandra, Pravesh and Soumyajit Ray guided by Debashish Acharya, Professor of Economics, UoH has been adjudged as the `Best Entry’ from this region.
The team now has qualified for the zonal round of competition to be held in Chennai next month. The winners of the zonal round will have to participate in the national round to be held in RBI’s central office, Mumbai later.
RBI is organising the competition for undergraduate and graduate students to spread awareness regarding financial matters and promotion of better understanding of monetary and economic issues.
