At least six people were killed in Nepal and eight, including five Indians, were missing when five vehicles were hit by a landslide on a highway.
The landslide, triggered by heavy rainfall, took place on Sunday night and buried trucks, pick-up van and a car along the Mechi highway near Ilam in eastern Nepal.
According to police inspector Bishnu Hari Ghimire, who was at the site when the mishap happened, five of the missing are Indian nationals.
Their identities are yet to be established, myrepublica news Web site said. All the vehicles were coming to Ilam from Jhapa.
