International destinations seem to have been a big hit with Indian travellers this summer. According to research by travel search site Skyscanner, international destinations have seen more than 100 per cent growth in volume searches. At the same time, searches for domestic destinations grew by 60 per cent compared to same period last year. These travel trends are based on consumer search data for flights on their website between January-April 2014 compared to same period last year.

Some of the most popular holiday destinations searched by Indians include Morocco, Bhutan, Croatia and Greenland, besides Thailand and the UAE. Domestically, they are eyeing destinations such as Srinagar, Goa, Kochi and Port Blair.
