Maneka Gandhi’s Creative Showcase

At the Olive Crown Awards 2014 held in Mumbai last week, Maneka Gandhi was named the Green Crusader for her spirited efforts for animal welfare. In her acceptance speech, Gandhi listed both ads that have done a lot of damage to animal welfare and those that help further their cause. Moral of the story: While ad agencies can consciously create advertising that supports a green cause, at times they can unintentionally do a lot of damage.
