The world is abuzz with anticipation abut the Diamond Jubilee celebrations and Moët & Chandon is joining in the fun with the launch of a special Diamond Jubilee Cuvee. While Moët & Chandon had created special cuvees for both the Silver and Golden Jubilees, this is the first time that a specially created cuvee will be available for purchase. The Diamond Jubilee Cuvee therefore marks two special occasions.
Moët & Chandon was established in 1743 and is regarded one of the most respected creators of fine champagne. It has therefore held the Royal Warrant since recognition of the superior quality of the champagnes by Queen Victoria in 1893. King Edward VII recognised the Royal Warrant in 1906, followed by King George V in 1931 and King George VI in 1947. HM Queen Elizabeth II then granted the Royal Warrant in 1955, and has been maintained over the last 57 years. So the relationship between the Royal family and Moët & Chandon continues with this special cuvee. Jo Thornton, Managing Director of Moët Hennessy UK stated that Moët & Chandon was honoured to toast HM Queen Elizabeth's reign with these exclusive labels.
Diamond Jubilee bottles of Moët & Chandon Impérial will be available for purchase at the select stores in the UK, including Waitrose, Fortnum & Mason, Harrods, Harvey Nichols and Selfridges. So have your own little piece of royal history with a bottle of celebratory bubbly.
