South Africa witnessed more than 8 per cent growth in inflow of Indian tourists between January and August, 2013.
"The country received 76,116 Indian tourists between January and August last year, up by 8.4 per cent than the same period in 2012," Hanneli Slabber, Country Manager, South Africa Tourism, told reporters here on the sidelines of its 11th roadshow in India.
According to her, the country has recently started promoting certain destinations connected with diamond and gold mines for the Indian travellers.
