South Western Railway (SWR) has decided to run special express train between Vasco-Da-Gama to Velankani and back for the convenience of pilgrims attending Velankani festival.
According to a SWR release, Train No.07315 Vasco-Da-Gama – Velankani express train will depart from Vasco-Da-Gama station at 2 p.m. on September 6 and arrive at Velankani station at 7.15 p.m., the next day.
In the return direction, Train No.07316 Velankani - Vasco-Da-Gama Express train will depart from Velankani station at 6.30 p.m. on September 8 and arrive at Vasco-Da-Gama station at 3.15 a.m., the next day.
En route, the special train will stop at Madgaon; Sanvordem Curchorem; Kulem; Castle Rock; Londa; Dharwad; Hubli; Haveri; Davangere; Birur Jn; Arsikee Jn; Tumkur; Yesvantpur; Krishnarajapuram; Bangarpet; Jolarpettai “A” Cabin; Salem Jn; Rasipuram; Namakkal; Mohanur; Karur Jn; Tiruchchi; Thanjavur; Thiruvarur; and Nagpattinam.
