Telecom service provider Vodafone India on Wednesday said it will donate Rs 1.20 crore to NGO partner Educate Girls.
Over 12,000 Vodafone India employees along with their family and friends participated for eight weeks to raise funds across the country as part of the 'Giving Championship' programme.
Through this programme, the company will enable more than 47,000 young girls (6-14 years) in Ajmer, Bundi and Rajsamand districts in Rajasthan to go back to school for one academic year, the company said.
Meanwhile, the company also released its fourth sustainability report — Footprints IV-Steps Today for a Better Tomorrow'.
