Television commercial (TVC) featuring music maestro A.R. Rahman led to the crashing of the Harman India Web site twice within two hours of the video been uploaded.
The company release said: “Harman International India which ran a special ‘sneak preview’ of JBL India’s first-ever TVC on www.harman.in crashed twice.”
The first crash was barely six minutes after A.R. Rahman’s personalised tweet and Facebook update — encouraging fans to preview the TVC. However, the Web site was up and running again in a few hours.
“We’re very pleased with the overwhelming response we have received on the ad from all the fans of JBL and Rahman,” said Sameer Shah, Director, Marketing, Harman International India.
The TVC will be on air on major national network channels from tomorrow.
