Being sensitive to the needs of the increasing number of single women travellers for business or for leisure, the Cambay Group of Hotels and Resorts on Thursday said on the eve of International Women’s Day that it would provide “women-friendly” hotels with additional care.

“The prime concern of single women travellers is security. From now on, we will be making special lighting and security arrangements for all the single women guests who stay at our properties. Even the staff will be sensitized towards the needs and concerns of single women

travellers,” said Manoj Singhal, Managing Director, in a statement here on Thursday.

“We will try and pull all the single women travellers on a single floor as and when possible. All the floors where we will have single women guests will have additional security and electronic surveillance through CCTV cameras. With a little operational change, we are going to offer comfort and luxury with a great amount of security for our lady guests”.

As a special offer for the weekend that follows the Women’s Day, the Group is offering a 50 per cent discount of room rates for all single women travellers with a complimentary meal. Over the weekend, all women guests at the properties will be given huge discounts on the spa and wellness products offered.

The Cambay Group of Hotels and Resorts has been promoted by Neesa Group, one of the fastest growing business conglomerates with assets and management ownership of more than Rs 2,000 crore and an employee base of close to 3,000.
