A gas leak has killed two workers and stranded six others at a coal mine in central China’s Hunan Province, officials said.
The accident had occurred yesterday in the city of Shaoyang.
Eleven people were working in the mine and three of them returned to the ground safely.
The rescue of those missing is underway, state-run Xinhua news agency reported today.
