Four persons have been killed and 35 others injured after a fire triggered by a natural gas explosion broke out in southwest China.
The fire broke out yesterday at a shopping mall in Luzhou City in Sichuan Province, state-run Xinhua news agency reported today.
The explosion occurred around 10:40 p.m. local time at the Mo’erma shopping mall and the flames soon spread to the ground and second floors, sources with the municipal government said.
Search and rescue operations are still underway.
