6.7-magnitude earthquake strikes western Greece

The U.S. Geological Survey reported on Tuesday a magnitude 6.7 earthquake just off the west coast of Greece.

The quake occurred 10 km below the Earth's surface, USGS said. A second reading gave a magnitude of 6.8 and a depth of just 5 km.
