Seismologists say a magnitude-7.1 earthquake has shaken southern-most Mexico. Local media say the quake was felt strongly across much of southern Mexico, but there are no immediate reports of injury.
The US Geological Survey says it was centered about 35 kilometers west-southwest of Tapachula on the Pacific coast.
