Some 200 Nigerian schoolgirls who were abducted by the radical Islamist group Boko Haram have been forced to marry members of the militia and taken to neighbouring Chad and Cameroon, the online newspaper Daily Trust reported Tuesday.
The husbands paid a dowry of 2,000 nairas (12.4 dollars) for each girl to their abductors, the daily quoted a village elder as saying.
The girls were kidnapped from their boarding school in Chibok in north-eastern Bornu state on April 14.
