Asians-dominated Leicester city in the UK has got its second international visa operation with a successful launch of a pilot Bangladesh Visa Service.
The centre was launched by Leicester East MP Keith Vaz and Bangladesh High Commissioner Mohamed Mijarul Quayes on Saturday in the presence of local councillors, dignitaries and community members.
The move comes after the successful establishment of a visa centre in Leicester by the Indian High Commission.
“I am delighted with the successful launch of the Bangladesh Visa Centre. The Peepul Centre has now become the hub for visa centre for the Asian continent. We hope to accommodate all the nations who wish to have a visa surgery,” Vaz said and thanked Quayes for his support.
