China today strongly condemned the bombings in the US city of Boston saying it is firmly opposed to any attack aimed at common people.
“We extend our deep condolences and sincere regards to the victims and their relatives,” Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying told the media here.
Three people were killed and over 140 injured in the blasts during the Boston Marathon.
One female Chinese student was injured in the blasts, Hua said, adding, the Chinese Consul General in New York would be visiting her in hospital.
