China's Commerce Ministry said on Wednesday it cannot rule out the possibility of falling exports in the coming months, after data showed exports tumbled in July from a year earlier.
The ministry also said that the country's foreign trade is facing a severe situation and uncertainties.
Exports in July tumbled 8.3 per cent from a year earlier, their biggest drop in four months and imports fell 8.1 per cent from a year earlier.
