North Korea on Sunday agreed to a South Korean proposal to restart reunions of families separated by the 1950-53 Korean War, meetings that have been stalled for three years.
The reunions would take place during the harvest festival of Chuseok on September 19 at its Mount Kumgang resort, state media said as North Korea agreed to a proposal made last week by South Korean President Park Geun Hye.
