Spain's gross domestic product rose 0.8 percent in the July to September period on a quarterly basis according to preliminary data from the National Statistics Institute on Friday, in line with expectations.
That was lower than the 1 percent quarterly expansion registered in the second quarter.
On an annual basis the economy grew by 3.4 percent, up from 3.1 percent in the previous quarter, and also in line with economists' expectations.
