Republican presidential front runner Donald Trump and his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton are leading in most of the states, where the primaries are scheduled next week and thereafter, according to latest polls.
The next phase of presidential primaries are very important for both Trump and Clinton as they aim to achieve the target of necessary delegates to become the party’s nominee for the November elections.
As per latest opinion polls, Trump is leading by a huge margin of 27 points in California against his nearest rival Senator Ted Cruz from Texas. He is ahead of Cruz in Indiana by eight points.
Both the latest opinion polls were conducted by Fox News.
As per Real Clear Politics, which tracks latest polls, Trump is also leading in Maryland, which along with Pennsylvania, Delaware, Connecticut and Rhode Island has the primaries scheduled on April 26.
Clinton too leads against her sole Democratic presidential rival Bernie Sanders in Maryland primary.
However, as per Fox News, the two are tied in a close race in California.
Clinton is up by just two points over Sanders in California likely voters (48-46 per cent).
The former secretary of state leads Sanders by four points in Indiana.
