German unemployment has risen month-on-month in adjusted terms, in a fresh sign that Germany’s economy is slowing, data released Thursday showed.
The Federal Labour Office said the seasonally adjusted number of people out of work had risen by 13,000 compared to February to 2.935 million.
The adjusted unemployment rate remained unchanged at 6.9 per cent, a level it has held since October.
