South Western Railway (SWR) will run a special train between Yesvantpur-Kochuveli on September 13 and Kochuveli-Yesvantpur on September 14 to clear the extra rush of traffic in view of Onam festival.
Accordingly, Train No 06553 Yesvantpur-Kochuveli express train will depart at Yesvantpur station at 6.30 p.m. on Friday (September 13) and arrive at Kochuveli station at 11.30 a.m., the next day.
In the return direction, Train No 06554 Kochuveli-Yesvantpur special train will depart at Kochuveli station at 9.15 p.m. on Saturday (September 14) and arrive at Yesvantpur station at 3.00 p.m., the next day.
En route, the special train will arrive/depart at Banaswadi; Krishnarajapuram; Bangarpet; Jolarpettai “A” Cabin; Salem; Erode; Tiruppur; Coimbatore; Podannur; Palakkad; Shoranur “B” Cabin; Thrissur; Aluva; Ernakulam Town; Kottayam; Tiruvalla; Chengannur; Kayamkulam; and Kollam.
