Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM-B) and International Consortium for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Research (ICIER) are jointly organising the ICIER 4th International Conference during January 29-31.
The main theme of the conference is entrepreneurship education and training with special reference to the design, delivery and effectiveness of programmes for promoting entrepreneurship and new venture creation.
The conference is part of a larger initiative for understanding the facilitation of entrepreneurship in emerging economies. It will also provide a platform for discussion and sharing research-based ideas on Entrepreneurship education and training to the academicians, consultants, trainers, entrepreneurs and policy makers.
The conference will take place in association with the international partners of ICIER along with IEF, CSBE, EBTC and ArtforEconomy.
Some of the speakers at the conference include Fabio Corno, Professor, Milano-Bicocca University of Italy; Piero Formica, International Professor of Knowledge Economics and Entrepreneurship, University of Tartu (Estonia); Sari Mettila, Visiting Professor at IIM Bangalore; and Jay Mitra, Professor, University of Essex, UK.
During the ICIER-IIMB Conference a virtual exhibition of innovative technologies from Europe will also be organised by the European Technology Experience Centre.
Apart from this two panel discussions on 29{+t}{+h} (Family Business) and 30{+t}{+h} (Business Incubators) January are also scheduled during the conference.
The ICIER and IIMB received 251 abstracts from which about 100 papers were accepted for presentation at the conference after a rigorous review process.
