The summer placement process for the batch of PGP 2016 at the Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli (IIM-T) has completed with 91 students receiving internship offers from 41 companies.
The highest stipend offered at the campus this year is Rs 1.4 lakh. The average stipend stands at Rs 45,000 this year.
Some of the prominent recruiters who offered internship at the campus include World Bank, Deloitte, Cognizant Business Consulting, Mahindra, HCL, Frost & Sullivan, Draft FCB Ulka, Phillip Capital, and Emami.
Twelve students have opted out of the summer internship process. They will be pursuing niche roles in areas such as private equity, supply chain management, process optimization and strategy consulting.
