IT training centre NIIT is gearing up to take high-quality educational programmes to the remotest parts of the country through its cloud campus initiative.
“The effort is aimed at addressing the dilemma of scalability and quality in education that the country is currently facing,” E. Venkatesan, Vice-President, NIIT, said at the inauguration of the institute’s new facility at Peelamedu in Coimbatore.
The new centre will offer training programmes in IT, banking, global finance, management, and digital and social media marketing through its Cloud Campus with innovative learning features.
Venkatesan said that the initiative was aimed at empowering youth and making them industry-ready from day one.
