Talent development company: NIIT will be conducting its 10th National IT Aptitude Test (NITAT) on February16. The NITAT will be conducted in over 200 cities nationwide; the test helps graduates to ascertain their aptitude for a career in the IT industry. NIIT claims, more than 10.50 lakh students have taken the test since its inception.
The test ranks the students through objective type questions on reasoning, comprehension, data interpretation skills and behavioural traits. Students who will appear for NITAT will receive an assessment score card and personalised career counselling from NIIT. The company will also award special recognition certificates to the top 30 per cent merit list candidates.
NITAT was introduced in 2004 to enable graduates pursuing their studies in engineering, arts, commerce and science streams to gauge their aptitude for a career in the IT sector. NASSCOM estimates 12-14 per cent growth for the Indian software services industry in the FY2014.
