Springing ahead

Almost all the major global indices closing higher for the week, helped by the US Fed. Nikkei touched a 15-year high as investors turned optimistic on improving corporate earnings. Facebook’s stock price touched an all-time high on product enhancement expectations. But shares of eBay and Netflix headed lower on analyst downgrades. Bond yields dipped on cautious rate hike views from the Fed. German yields dropped to a record low.
